It is only a 25 minute coastal drive south to Kaneohe Town with many restaurants, shopping centers and multiplex cinemas. Drive 25 minutes north along the ocean to historic Haleiwa town, where you can enjoy its many surf shops, art galleries, and restaurants. Don't forget to have some "shave ice"!
For the more adventurous, there are surf lessons available, and parachuting and glider rides over the beautiful North Shore.
